    There are many other birds to be seen in the creeks around Glasson. Seen a few days ago were wimbril, curloo, oyster catcher, heron. there were in fact a group of three heron, the first time I have seen 3 of these birds in the same location.

    Grebes now with one almost fully grown youngster. The youngster can dive unaided, cannot stay under water for quite as long as the adults yet. Still seems to depend on the adults, who seem very tolerant of the youngsters presence.
