Holden Wood Reservoir Walk
Park your car by the Holden Inn on Grane Road. Walk down the Lane towards Holden Wood Reservoir ( You can see the reservoir nd its dam ). Just before the Dam go through a signposted gate on the right, with stunning views of the reservoir and the dam. The circular walk is shown on the section of OS map, follow the path and the signs. Lapwings are numerous in the fields on the right. Herons use the reservoir itself.
